HOW IT ALL STARTED
All good stories start with a beginning
Many, many years ago our family got together for our very first homemade Taco Night. With the taco shells and guac flowing, we decided to hone our skills and make Taco Night an event for our friends and family. And that we did! After some years and amidst a global pandemic, in July 2020, Taco Kings was officially born for a community garage sale, literally out of our garage. Neighbors and new friends stopped by to try what eventually became Taco Kings for the first time. What better way to bond after the craziest couple of months we've ever lived through, than with street tacos?
After that fateful day, Taco Kings became a dream that we continue to build on day after day with our 2 boys, Adrian and Alexander, and the support of our friends, family, and local community (RAM fam stand up!). God has continued to open doors for us to serve the local Clermont and Minneola communities and beyond. We are thrilled to continue to share our love for all things street tacos. We can't wait for you to come getcho' taco on with us!

Hiii! Welcome to our little cozy space in the www. We're Silvia and Alex Reyes, the face behind Taco Kings. After years on the corporate grind in the hospitality, technology, retail, financial, and restaurant industries, we took the plunge to build something from the ground up—together—along with the ones that make our world go 'round (our boys, Adrian and Alexander Emilio).
Alex has always had a passion for cooking and a dream of opening up a restaurant. Something about blending the right flavors and seeing people enjoy his food has always filled his bucket. 2020 was the year that finally pushed us to go for it and make our dreams come true. What an adventure it has been!
We are where we are today thanks to the love and support of our family, our neighbors, our church, and our local community. For that, we are forever grateful. Thank you for being a part of our story and our journey. If you love tacos, you're our people...and if you don't—you're still our people, don't let that stop you from coming by and saying hi!
